After a break of almost 15 years, I rediscovered my love for making electronic music. The joy of exploring and creating weird and unique sounds, weaving and mixing them together to tell a story. Wordless stories that can act as mental exercises and let the audience create their own narrative.
As a nerdy, sci-fi loving Generation-X kid, I was fascinated by this kind of music. It seemed to come from outer space and taking me on cosmic journeys. Listening to masterpieces like Jean-Michel Jarre's Équinoxe or Vangelis' Spiral, I could close my eyes and soar among the stars, feeling like a superhero astronaut.
For me, creating music is primarily a form of self-entertainment. However, if my music can transport others into their own inner worlds, like I still do when I am listening to any of my favorite artists, I'll take that as a win.
