Owen-Ness is a Hip Hop artist. Born in Brooklyn, New York, but resided in New Jersey since the age of seven. He's a metaphorical lyricist, heavily influenced by Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay Z. Both his parents originated from the Caribbean islands which led to his exposure to Caribbean music constantly as he grew. His mother (Guyanese), and father (Jamaican), aided in broadening Owen's musical horizon. Owen-Ness is also a renowned audio engineer in the city of Hackensack, and was given the nickname "Master of the Mix" after working on various Mixtapes from aspiring emcees on the come-up in New Jersey. Everyone knows Owen for his signature phrase "OOWWIGGHHTT" however, this was the slogan his senior graduation class formulated. The initial slogan was "09 OOIIGGHHTT", so as tribute to his peers along with the city that raised him, he personalized the phrase and made it his own. - ((full bio on - OwenNessProductions.com)
