I am a recording engineer, producer, and beat maker. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, I started out as a dj and heard a song called "Fresh is the word" by a group called Mantronix. From there, I wanted to make beats. I noticed on the records a name(Chep Nunez R.I.P.) as the engineer of a lot of song on Mantronix label Sleeping Bag Records. That's when i decided I wanted to be a recording engineer. So I did. I went off to New York to attend the Institute of Audio Research in 1992. While there I was able to get an internship at Cold Chillin Records, home to the Juice crew( MC Shan, Roxanne Shante, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Craig G, Biz Markie and Cool V, and Masta Ace. After school I worked and several small studios in Baltimore doing mostly freelance work. I got out of the recording business for a few years before going back to school in 2000. I built my first computer and bought a program called Fruity Loops and strated making beats with a homie I met at Sheffield in Maryland.
