One U is Ryan Seay — an Austin-based producer and DJ whose music lives in the emotional world of melodic and progressive house. Trained as a classical musician at the Curtis Institute of Music before finding his way to electronic production, he brings a rare depth to a genre that runs on feeling. His compositions have been placed on Netflix series and independent films worldwide, and he's shared stages with James Hope, San Holo, Cash Cash, Habstrakt, and others.
After a few years away — moving cities, finding love, rebuilding — One U is back with more clarity and more to say. The sound is honest, emotionally wide open, and rooted in the same spirit as the artists he admires most: Ben Bohmer, Lane 8, Eli & Fur, Trilucid, PROFF. Music with a thread of melancholy and a pull toward something hopeful. Music for connection.
