Onésime(stage name for Daivon Taylor) is a cinematic artist with a love for everything music. Born out of Las Vegas, Nevada, Onésime is no stranger to entertainment. Growing up, he was captivated by classical music and film scores and later grew fond of Indie, Synth, and Ambient music. His love for ambient musicians like Corre & Antent, synth composers like Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein, legendary film composers such as Hans Zimmers and Ludwig Göransson, and Synth-Pop band CHVRCHES all play a role in his artistry. These artists and genres such as Indie, Post-Rock, Pop-Punk, Alternative, and Dark Academia are Onésime’s inspiration for creating music for all to love. Onésime hopes to create music that not only resonates with anyone who listens but also returns the love music gave to him. For studying scholars, Maladaptive Daydreamers, hopeless romantics, stargazers, or resting the mind, Onésime aims to create music that is not only timeless but that anyone can love.
