Lethabo Mampe, affectionately known as Waater Malone, is an all-round performing artist, orn in the township of Atteridgeville. Her style of singing is influenced by her late grandfather's love for jazz, the blues, and classical music. She pursued her love for drama and performance in 2012, when she enrolled for drama classes at Mmabana Arts & Culture Centre, in Lehurutshe, where she was mentored by Mr. Lucky-buoy Shametja. In 2018, she enrolled at a theatre academy, Youth In Trust (YIT), in the South African State Theatre and was casted in three student plays, during which time she progressed to the top 16 of the South African Idols season 14. In 2022, she finally pursued a career in music, under the guidance and in collaboration with SuperSaiyanRasta. Together, they released their music on streaming platforms. This would officially mark her first successful collaboration.
