Oromasis (Juan Carlos Alvarez) composes music since late 80s. As a composer he describes his music as "Music to Imagine", with the idea that through his melodies everyone can fly through imagination to the same ethereal worlds where he thinks his music come from. Self-taught as keyboardist and guitarist, seduced by the need to enrich his music with more diverse sounds, he has been working with synthesizers and computer sequencers since late 80s. In 1998 he released his first album, "Autobiography", recorded at his studio in Madrid (Spain). Then it was until 2010, after 12 years without publishing any song (due to a period of professional immersion as Medical Doctor and management consultant, besides his 4 children), when he finally published 3 singles as part of the project "piano works", followed by a couple of electronic based singles. Once again he stoped producing until 2018, when he re-build his studio in Bogotá (Colombia). Since 2020 he is back in Madrid (Spain).
