Lightning never strikes twice. Formed in June 2019, Other Lighting Eyes is a rock band based in Mexico City, Mexico that writes and performs primarily in English. The band is made up of 5 members, Vocalist Brandon "Backach" Rodriguez, Lead Guitarist Rodrigo “El Rey” Guerra,Bassist Julio Mendez, Drummer Tavo Bataco Tabaco and Rhythmic guitarist and Keyboardist Fernando Palafox. In the band’s own words, the name derives from the fortune of finding people to create the unique personal and musical chemistry that the band has together. Like lightning, that kind of chemistry doesn’t strike twice. At its core, the band sees itself as a manifestation of the love the members have for the rock genre and sound.
