"We ain't takin' any sh*t and we don't want any pity. we're your four punk-rock b*tches from Detroit Rock City."
PEN-15 are four Detroit high-school misfits united by a spirit of punk rock fury, queerness, pop-culture nerdiness, and a burning rage against a society of injustice and persecution . Their first EP 'The PEN-15 EP' was recorded in the tail-end of high-school, and their debut album 'When An Immovable Object Meets An Unstoppable Force' was self-recorded and self-released only a year later.
Battling against a year of adversity and seemingly never ending personal struggles, PEN-15's sophomore album, Reckoner, is now alive; a breakneck feminist journey kicking and screaming through the socio-political hellscape that is Earth 2025, queer pop culture, and brutal openness on struggles with mental health.
PEN-15 are;
Ivy Fernandez - Vocals and Guitar
Suzannah Thunderbaker - Lead Guitar, Piano
Mercedes Schultz - Bass, Backing Vocals
Donna Maximoff - Drums
