Javan Brooks (born September 21, 1992) also known as Pangea, is a Colorado native who was in search for his true voice in the world. Growing up, he always loved listening to Rap, R&B, Rock, Gospel, Alternative, and even some Country. But he found a special place in Hip Hop. Brooks wrote poetry since the age of 8 & by the age of 16, he found the passion to write music. Throughout his journey so far, Brooks was in search for his name, a name that would represent him, what he stands for, and the culture that is rooted within him. One day, the name came to him. Pangea, which in essence represents the world before the seven continents split, but it also represents Brooks in seventh grade ready to throw his life away. Instead of letting his world come apart, though, he had the courage to keep it together. Now Pangea is on a mission to use God-given talents to break barriers around the world, and help bring it back together (figuratively speaking), just as he did for himself.
