I'm married to Michelle Garibay-Carey (vocalist) and we routinely write and perform together. As a bassist, I've been fortunate to have played and was "musical director/contractor" for many smooth jazz artists performing in the San Antonio area for the last 15 years or so. My music education started in San Antonio and took me most notably to Miami (UofM) and Los Angeles (school of hard knocks). I love all kinds of music and consider myself proficient in many. My real passion is composing and producing.
