Paul Paterson is an Edinburgh based guitarist who is widely recognized as one of Scotland's leading gypsy jazz players. Paul has played professionally since the age of 18 and specializes in the authentic Django Reinhardt sound of the 1930s. He is accompanied by his spiritual and musical partner, Charlotte Paterson on double bass. The pair live out their adventures; dressing in vintage fashion, and touring the world sharing the music of early jazz pioneers; Django Reinhardt, Oscar Alemán, Charlie Christian, and Eddie Lang. They are lucky enough to attract the very best musicians to join them on their musical journeys.
