PetersBarque

Atchison, KS

Peter’s Barque is a catechetical music project by Justin West, blending sharp apologetics with alt-folk, spoken-word, and ironic indie-rock sensibilities. Its name nods to the ancient image of the Church as the Barque of Peter—and the slightly “bark-ish,” deadpan delivery woven through its tracks. Each song tackles a doctrinal tension, a biblical paradox, or a misunderstood teaching with wit, clarity, and a rhythm that sneaks theology into your head before you realize you’re humming it. Designed for Catholics who love good arguments, good art, and a little holy mischief, Peter’s Barque sails straight into the storm of modern confusion—armed with Scripture, Tradition, and a groove.
