Phelelani Mthembu also known as Mkhonto is a young Guitarist from South Africa. He started playing at the age of 18 years, whilst he was still in school doing his Matric(2015). He went to College to further his studies but unfortunately did not finish due to some reasons. He started writing his own music and formed a Band in 2017 called Abantu Natives, the band played at local gigs in Soweto including the Soweto theatre, and a festival in Ladysmith KZN. Due to a number of things the band stopped and he went Solo promoting his music and Jamming with a number of Good musicians, Khaya Mahlangu the, Lucky Thobela and Themba Mokoena to name a few. At 26 years old he has proved to be one of the finest musicians in South Africa. He has recorded a single and is currently working on his first Album.
