Growing up in the suburbs of Nashville, TN, Phen always felt a strong connection to music. His strict christian parents however, only allowed him to listen to classical and spiritual music. Catching up in his late teens and 20's, Phen has musical influences spanning genres, including classical - Vivaldi, psychedelic - Pink Floyd/Radiohead, alternative Pearl Jam/Smashing Pumpkins/NIN, and bands that defined their own genre's like Tool and A Perfect Circle. Art is something that one person creates and infuses with their inner feelings, in such a way that another person can experience that piece of art, and experience that same inner feeling. Art is the purest form of communication.
