Philipp Ham Kuman is a singer, songwriter, who is originally from Austria, Europe. His love for life and cultures has led him to many places, especially to Venezuela, South Amercia, where he lived for several years, to India and recently to East Africa. To him it is clear that we are all part of one familiy of humankind and that each culture and also its music are unique and make this world a beautiful, colourful place.
Originally, Philipp studied to be a language teacher. This love for languages shows in his songs, he has sung in many languages. German, Spanish, Portuguese, English, Samburu & most recently in Swahili (a cover version of Yatapita by Diamond Platinmz). One message that Philipp carries in his heart is that we are here on earth to support each other, to grow together. Social injustice and the fact that so many parts of this planet have suffered from colonialism and economic exploitation have always concerned him deeply.
