From emotional ballads to 80s inspired pop songs Pianzhi’s range is limitless. Born in New Jersey and raised in Delaware, singer/songwriter Jomol Hinmon grew up listening to every genre of music he could. After graduating high school, Pianzhi (going by OG Shinobi at the time) decided to make rap music with his brother and a few friends. After 2 years of rapping, writing and mild SoundCloud success it was time for a change. Now going by Pianzhi, he completely changed his sound from boom bap and trap style rap songs to something he calls “New Age Retro”. Combining the many sounds of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s with modern modern flows, relevant lyrics and smooth vocals. Songs like Interstellar, Can’t Give You Up, and Waters Gained him over 100k streams on SoundCloud.
