Lynchburg, VA, USA
Born and raised in the Lynchburg, VA area, Dell Woodruff picked up the guitar at age 11. Born, Dwight Lydell Woodruff, "Dell" played at his home church, Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. Dell has played and performed on stage with groups as Curtis Watson and the Soulful Messengers, The Fantastic Violinairs, The Gospel Keynotes, and a host of other greats. He formed a group called "The Prodigal Sons" in 1994. A great song called "God is Good", did well for him, but not well enough. So, Dell decided to do a full project, and named it: Dell "The Prodigal Son" Woodruff, "God is Good". With the help of Charles "Youngblood" McElveen, Dell put together this new CD, and named it "God is good produced by "Youngblood". This CD is surely an inspiration. Dell knows that "Through Christ" all things are possible, and without Christ in your life we all would fail. Surely, "God is Good". All the Time. Luke 15:11-32.
