Pup Xander is an independent British audio-visual artist creating emotionally charged electronic music shaped by influences ranging from Kraftwerk, OMD and The Human League to Pet Shop Boys, Hi-NRG, techno, ambient soundscapes and modern dancefloor energy. What began during recovery from major surgery in 2025 quickly evolved into an unconventional creative world where music, lyrics and visual storytelling meet. Moving freely between euphoric electronic pop, club music, experimentation and more atmospheric territory, Pup Xander explores queer experience, vulnerability, melancholy, humour, intimacy, connection and joy – sometimes all at once. Strongly influenced by the inclusive pupplay/petplay community, Pup Xander creates for outsiders, romantics, dancers, overthinkers and anyone who has ever wanted to feel seen. The work is playful about genre and serious about human connection.
