Rod Ward is a songwriter, lyricist and lifelong guitar player who has been writing songs for more than 50 years. Every release begins with Rod’s original lyrics and an arrangement developed on guitar.
Through RAW Productions, Rod uses Suno AI to help transform those arrangements into fully produced recordings. He directs the chord structure, tempo, rhythm, instrumentation and overall musical feel, revising each track until it captures the song he originally imagined.
The vocals and instrumentation are AI-generated, but the words, ideas, arrangements and creative direction belong to Rod. This is his experiment in using new technology to give longtime songwriters an opportunity to finally share the music they’ve carried with them for years.
Words by Rod Ward. Music assisted by AI.
