Hailing from Bologna, RIAH (Ropes In A Hole) plays emotional and powerful postmetal.
In November 2018 AUTUMNALIA has been published in CD format for the American label Fluttery Records; recorded and mixed by Enrico Baraldi at Vacuum Studio and Waiting Room Studio, with Magnus Linberg working on the mastering.
During the next year the band had been busy with the presentation of the album on various stages (Opening for Tides From Nebula, Dumbsaint ) and festivals.
In 2019 two new musicians joined the line-up the guitarists Michele Verni and Andrea Binetti. This refreshed line-up brought the rearrangement for three guitars of the songs, a more complex and mature sound and new tracks.
In June 2019 AUTUMNALIA was published on vinyl for Moment Of Collapse Records, Shove Records and Drown Within Records giving the band a wide press coverage in both Italy and abroad.
During 2019 the live activity continues with the participation at the Bologna’s Krakatoa Fest IIII and a tour in Germany
