A little about me and why Songwriting? Most of my life, I have struggled with communicating my feelings, been misunderstood or too afraid to speak up. Many years ago, I began to write lyrics. It was a way I could express myself, or to say what I wanted to say but couldn't. My whole life I have worn my heart on my sleeve, but without a way to communicate it. My faith and music have kept me alive through all the broken moments I have experienced in life. My faith gets me up and keeps me going even on the days I don't want to. Music, especially lyrics, have gotten me through some of the toughest and darkest times in my life; as well as some of my fondest memories. I have been afraid to let people get to know the real me. I have decided to share my songs to try and overcome that fear. Maybe some will be able to relate to my lyrics, and have it help them along their journey as others do for me? God Bless!!
