ROMSKI grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area city of the Santa Clara also known as The Mission City.  Influenced by hip-hop at an early age, ROMSKI was captivated by the sounds of the new art form. With San Jose’s skyline as the backdrop, ROMSKI became a documentarian of his own personal experiences living in Mission City.  On the eastern end of town growing up near the railroad yard, empty lots and a small university where neglect was becoming part of the norm—ROMSKI was an outsider on the edge of town chronicling life and times in The Mission City.
