Rob Hibbitt was born in Crawley, West Sussex in 1978. He moved with his parents to Bournemouth, Dorset in the early Eighties. He managed to scrape his way through school and miraculously got a number of substandard GCSEs. After a year of college, he was kicked out for poor attendance. The irony being was that he went every day, he just didn’t go to the classes, preferring to play cards and get bored in the refectory. It wasn’t until he became a Christian aged 19 that he believes he was switch on intellectually. Although dyslexic he began to start reading books and he remembered how he always loved English and especially poetry. Now married and with a family, studied an Open University Honours Degree in Literature. This degree helped him develop his creative writing and opened the door to poetry and the poets. Rob is currently an elder at The King's Church Ringwood and enjoys writing poetry and worship songs For All The King's People.
