Rewriting my wrongs. My name is Rudy Nieto. I am a 22 year old independent artist currently living in the suburbs of Chicago. The attempt to find my place in the world without a guiding father figure to help navigate the different struggles of becoming a young man left me hopeless. Music has always intrigued me but I never considered making it a career until recent events. I now realize telling stories through my music is how I will leave my mark on the world. My debut single “Regrets” is about my inner conflict to come to terms with the final stage of grief after the end of a codependent relationship. This final letter to a lover turned stranger is raw vulnerable emotion I hope to turn into positive energy for those who choose to listen. You are not alone in these dark times.
