Richard Hala, hailing from a beautiful town, Wellington, in the Boland. My love for singing started at a very tender age, where I sang at family parties, in front of people. That is when I realised that this is what I would love to do growing older. Singing in the school choir I met up with 4 friends and we started our very own boyband. We did a lot of talent search competitions and THE SHELL ROAD TO FAME was one we entered and won the group category. I went solo after that and entered THE COCA COLA POPSTARS and I ended up in the top ten. I was in the group AFRO-Z, with songs like MY COLDEST WAR, PHENOMENAL, from the album AIN'T IT FUNNY, 2003. Performed for the BARNYARD THEATRE company for years, also travelled with some productions to places like Europe, Middle East, Carribbean Islands. Now I am writing and producing my very own music.
