Raphaela Nehme is a Lebanese/Canadian singer songwriter located in Ottawa, ON. Her genre navigates between popular English songs and on occasion, romantic French ballads such as Lara Fabian’s “Je t’aime.” Raphaela was born in Canada but grew up in a music infused home in Beirut, Lebanon until the age of 19 years old. Her mother is an opera singer and instilled the passion and love of music in her at an early age. At 14 years old, she recorded her first EP comprised of 7 original songs. She took a break from music while pursuing higher education, but during COVID, she had an epiphany and realized that she simply can’t live without music. Over the last year, she has focused on posting covers regularly to her Instagram and Youtube channel and when circumstances permitted, played live shows in the Ottawa region. She is currently recording an original song that will be released in 2022 and is planning on recording and releasing four more singles before the end of the year. When sh
