Raventhorn is a two-man experimental symphonic extreme metal band from Moscow, Russia, currently located in Leipzig (DE) and Guildford (UK). Emerging in the beginning of 2018, the band released the debut concept album "Nightmare in Eden", and on 30th October 2020 returned with a follow-up album "Shadows of Lonehill". The band's passion is telling twisted and haunting stories inspired by the great writers like Edgar Allan Poe and Howard Lovecraft. Each of the band's albums has a concept that takes place in the same fictional universe imbued with surrealism. Raventhorn's sound echoes the macabre content of the lyrics. Drawing inspiration from such metal icons as Carach Angren, Septicflesh, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Opeth, as well as classical composers, Raventhorn provides their listeners with a grand soundscape, where everyone can find something for himself.
