Musician since his young age, Renard began playing drums at the age of 6. From the age of 12 he began to play in groups and experiment with different musical styles. From rock to funk, he eventually developed a taste for playing reggae.
It was at the age of 16 that Renard discovered dub and fell in love with infrabass.
After having discovered many artists from the UK, French and Jamaican scene, Renard began to produce his own pieces.
