After the Band and as the years passed, Dick Velvet continued to make music, even as the industry around him changed. While he always loved the raw energy of performing live on stage, he also began to embrace new technologies and techniques to enhance his music.
One such technology was digital recording. Dick Velvet was initially skeptical of the idea, but once he tried it out, he was amazed by the level of clarity and control it afforded him. He spent many hours in the studio crafting his music, experimenting with different sounds and instruments, and fine-tuning every aspect of his compositions. In 2023 he became ordained and started to live a cleaner life while fully embracing the legalities of Medical Mary.
