I’m not a typical musician, if one at all. I see myself as an independent musical artist, emphasis on art; I dabble. Most of my tracks are just samples with sound efx and maybe one transition. I believe that as soon as you conceive of something it should appear, so I tend to get impatient. As soon as one track is done, I’m onto the next - I often leave mistakes in until they become a part of the track. The single or album art is also a part of my process. In 2016 I discovered that I could make music without knowing notes or an instrument. That may change, but I think I’m probably more resistant to the idea. I used to be extremely shy, so it’s not likely that anyone will ever see me play live - the music is private for me that way. Formerly, I recorded as DJ Rhani/Mehanes. I decided to drop the DJ in mid-2020.
