Risco is a 3-piece rock band from Stockton-On-Tees, recently renamed from "The Collectors" in early 2024. From humble beginnings of writing tunes and giving away demo CDs during lockdown to playing those same tunes to sold out crowds, they certainly have made a name for themselves around Teesside by developing a raw, heavy, melodic sound inspired by mod culture. They were met with early success at their highly anticipated debut headline gig at NE Volume Music Bar, packing out the whole venue. Since then they have been playing larger, sold out shows at venues such as The Georgian Theatre and Ku Stockton to name a few as well as hitting venue capacity for the BBC Intoducing's stage for Stockton Calling 2023 and the NE Volume Stage in 2024. The band are most known for their high-powered live performances, having played amongst the likes of 'Reverend and The Makers', 'Red Rum Club' and 'The Zutons' amongst other established acts.
