I was 19, living in a tent in Bar Harbor ME when I started writing Avalon. In the month of April. I knew it would take much of my life to write that song and it did. I rewrote the chorus about ten years ago and added the embellishments spring of this year. I'm now 55. Did I find Avalon? I believe so.
