A.R.E. stands for Aesthesis Ross Experiment, a one man electronic project conducted by Costa Rican native artist Roy Ross. After 15+ years as drummer of rock/metal acts, Ross found in electronics the vehicle to express himself through music; excited to develop ideas faster than in a rock band setting, Ross would be deeply touched by the Indian culture after touring Goa in 2015. This trip will encouraged him to further develop his, at the time, side project A.R.E. and by late that year he would move on to the golden coast of Costa Rica, Guanacaste leaving the rock band behind to focus on his own project. Nevertheless, A.R.E. does not intent to be a one music-style type of project, because as his name implies the music is driven by the senses and its perception of the external world. Therefore, the project has influences that goes from classical music to jazz, rock or even extreme metal. Ross introspective way of perceiving the world adds the final element to the mix.
