South African Hip-hop artist, born in the Free State province. RuccaDon grew up listening and enjoying music played by his uncle and he saw how productive his uncle was when listening to music so he decided to mimic certain songs he like and this varied from genre to genre and this includes Kwaito (South African local version of Hip-hop), RnB and some international Hip-hop which later influenced his own lyrics. RuccaDon released his first mixtape back in 2014 and at the time was studio hoping and decided to collet all song he recorded to compile this mixtape. The mixtape did not do as well as expected taking some time away from music and started learning and collaborating with other artists in his community. In 2018 he released his first EP titled Tswelopele (Sotho word for Moving on) and this was a promising project which was followed by a couple of singles namely Divine intervention and DWYL which further strengthened his sound.
