ABOUT SANDS
This is SANDS. Bassist Andre Solano, drummer John Kostaras and Violinist Nick Venebles draw from their experiences in progressive rock, psychedelia, metal, classical, experimental and ambient music. Sands delivers a heady mix of these genres into a sound that is uniquely theirs.
Combining the lusher textural elements of their instruments, building crescendos and angular riffs, Sands live shows and debut album are designed to take the listener on an emotive psychedelic journey, each song thoughtfully stitched together with segues and musical themes.
