My name is Gregory Charlemagne. My band, Story Charlemagne is a progressive rock/acoustic project. I will be releasing my debut EP over the course of October, starting on Friday, October 2nd. This project has taken over 2 years to come to fruition and was composed, written, recorded, mixed and mastered by me. The drums on this project were recorded by my long time friend Jon Rosado, in a studio we shared in the Rockaway, NY called 9A studios. I needed to have a hand in each piece of the process because I genuinely wanted to learn what it takes to be adept within the music industry. My debut tracks ‘in this tale’ and ‘retreat’ are both a part of a short story I have created as the theme of this EP.

This track 'retreat' follows a tale of a young man with the power to write things into life. This is the end of the tale where he is forced to run away because of what he has done. Although he used his power for what he thought was good, he quickly realizes that he created a larger issue that could not be tamed. This track will be available on all platforms on October 2nd. 10/2/20!more
