My father always said "..if Kimberley isnt talking, then she's either sick, mad, or hungry!" As the daughter of a Nurse and a well known Trinidadian copperwork Artist, I think I was bound to be molded into a feisty but empathetic Creative. A church elder nicknamed me "Vibrant", and it's similar to my high school nickname "Smiley K". As a Canadian-born woman with Carribean roots, I often feel like my personality is like a smooth and sweet maple syrup, mixed with the spicy flavor of a Trinidadian Roti. This means I'm influenced by the best of both worlds, so I believe my Christian children's poetry books and song writing extends an inspiring vibe thats saying "join the praise party!", while also sharing the gospel in a festive and VIBRANT manner. There's something for all ages, so we can be sure to keep the kids clapping, and the adults toe-tapping! I am also grateful to dedicate this album to my amazingly talented and loving father Glendon who died months before this album release.
