One of the most lyrically gifted rappers on the scene with a razor sharp ear for samples and production, Syaman is a true hip-hop head who is on the verge of greatness. This self-confessed “fan of the Golden era” is here to bring that 90’s hip-hop sound back to the forefront. Hailing from Lewisham in South London, he has been rapping for over 15 years, and producing for over 10 years beginning his journey when he joined a group called R.D.S. (Real Deal Squad) in 1996. They released an E.P, which featured the single & "Cant Cope" produced by Syaman with the other members, and performed at various venues around the country. In 2004 a chance meeting and impromptu performance for DJ Mentat led to the beginning of a close working relationship, which led to Syaman supporting DJ Mentat and working on numerous albums and making appearances on BBC Radio 1xtra and Force 106.5 FM.
