I have lived all over the Western USA. I am an educator and a published author. I love poetry and that is really what I do here. I write extensively and have started turning my poetry into music. I use a synthesizer, DAW, and am working on mastering the 5 string Banjo and the hammerclaw style. My work is a mix of rock, country, outlaw, and bluegrass. My favorite artists are Earl Scruggs, Elvis, Anthony Oliver, Allison Krause, Johnny Cash, and Gordon Lightfoot. I am a story teller at heart and my music tells the story that I want to share. I am not doing this to make money, it is about expression and most of my songs will be expressions of optimism, joy or overcoming lifes challenges. I am sure that this will all evolve for me over time, and I will be working to expand my reach and partner up with some musicians for liver performances at some point in the future.
