Mc. Sethu Kumar an independent rapper/producer focuses on creating political/spiritual awareness and imparting knowledge. His lyrical content focuses on school systems, discrimination, brown/black women empowerment, mental illness, peace, violence, all through the eyes of a youth male from a minority community called "Tamil". Conveying his views on being part of a minority group that lost their land due to civil war and genocide and focuses on bringing awareness of the lyrical rap culture, demoting the materialistic mainstream topics for his fans/listeners to realize the truth and live with gratitude. Sethu Kumar’s song writing/production is heavily inspired by Notorious B.I.G, Eminem, J Cole, Nas, Tupac, Kanye West, J Dilla and A R Rahman.
