ShannonLee is a Kansas City born songwriter and music creator based out of Stuttgart, Germany.
Heavily influenced by industrial, funk, and EDM, he writes about the darker corners of life often tucked away from society. Openness, ownership, trust, and consent. A sex positive message meant to move bodies in every vertical. The words are his. The music is built with machines and beaten into shape until it's as ugly as it needs to be.
Dark Waters Run Deeper, the first EP, was born out of country and blues, where the passion runs so deep it can only survive in the West Bottoms of Kansas City, but was transformed into a dark industrial funk that will rattle speakers. His first full album, KinkED, was made for the people that play in places hidden. EDM that cracks like a whip, with a story to fit. KinkED will be followed by a release of the original country versions, full of anthems that will rock an arena.
Released on Exceptional Deviant, his own label.
