Silvan Hart is a multi-instrumentalist indie pop artist from New York, NY. He combines elements of indie rock, folk, classic rock, goth, and pop, with nods to My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division, Beck, and Pavement. Hart's lyrics address social and psychological issues in a pensive yet tongue-in-cheek manner. He plays guitar in Brooklyn band, Roomtones. His forthcoming full-length, Tell Tale Hart is a collection of songs written and recorded throughout the COVID-19 pandemic while on break from Roomtones. It is his first full-fledged solo effort after playing supporting roles in several New York bands in the 2010s. The first single release, not part of Tell Tale Hart, is a cover of friend Luke Rathborne's song Cold Breeze. Radical Simpleton, the first single for Tell Tale Hart, is scheduled for release in mid-July 2023 accompanied by a video directed by Hart and shot by Dan Swindel.
