Simona Rael (2001, Pena Blanca, NM) is a Nuevo Mexicana Latina, painter, singer, and fashion designer. Her interdisciplinary practice explores spiritual empowerment through artistic performance and healing. Simona started making music with her papa’s guitar as since before she could walk as a child in a wheelchair. The band “Sequence'' R&B, Bossa Nova, and Latin Jazz. The “Trees Have Eyes'' song and music video supports her paintings through a cinematic ethereal aesthetic. Her paintings, songs, and fashion design is a display of her multi-talented disciplinary skills and the deep exploration of the body, spirit, and mind. She is an international muralist, local fashion designer, and a singer in her family band Sequence. Simona’s very versatile within the arts encompasses singing, live painting, directing fashion shows, and using her artistry as a spiritual healing for the community.
