Born from the ashes of the French band Pitbulls In The Nursery, NAKHARA is the side-project of his guitarist Saïmon (Simon Thevenet). Combining Death Metal and Prog atmosphere, his 􀃶rst EP (8 tracks) "The Procession" brings a new perspective in the Metal world. While importing several atypical or even exotic instruments in this style, such as Indian Sitar, Classical guitar or even accordion, NaKharA claims for a fresh, raw and straight metal mixing a blend of ingredients borrowed from the classics, such as Doom, Black Metal or Tech Death. Each track owns an original theme, resolutely breaking with “clichés”, starting from a pessimistic observation about the state of our world (“Commination”), up to the horrors of the Rwandan genocide (“Gray Sky ”) through the abysses of schizophrenia (“ All these Voices ”) and visceral fear of the elements (“ Submerged ”).
