Skaf is the artist name for Alessandro Omiciuolo italian musician from Venice. His musical path began with classical piano studies, continuing with modern genres and drums, he finally graduated in jazz piano. He approached the world of electronic music, working with tech/house producers and playing live in some dj sets. Skaf’s sound is a grooving hip hop/R&B base, with several shades of jazz, ambient, lo-fi and pop. A special affection for the backbeat and jazz harmonies reminds a Robert Glasper Experiment, J Dilla, Madlib taste.
