Chris Shooter has rotated around Sol for more than half a century and proports to be a Blues and Rock musician with a side helping of Metal. Growing up in Queensland, Australia he moved to Britain in 2006. He started playing the guitar, bass and drums at the age of 14 and he has played in numerous bands performing covers and original songs. Sometimes he even warbles out some vocals of sorts.
His tenuous claim to any sort of fame is that he won 'Best Drummer' at the 2005 Brisbane Rock Awards Finals with heavy grunge metal outfit Blunt. He once also met Slim Dusty on a fishing boat, saw a Proclaimer at a bus stop and and was the lead guitarist and vocalist for the 17th best blues band of all South-West Edinburgh for the year 2020. He lives in England with his wife, some of his children and a perpetually hungry west highland terrier.
