Emerging from the heart of Botswana, Slay Sounds began his career in 2020, as a Hip Hop and RnB producer. By 2021, Slay Sounds’ insatiable curiosity led him to the world of House music, and this set the stage for his boldest move yet: stepping into the vibrant realm of Amapiano in 2022. Amapiano became the playground where Slay Sounds truly let his creativity soar as he then went to as far as even adding vocals to his music. His versatility and seamless genre-blending abilities have since earned him acclaim and a dedicated fanbase.
Joining forces with artists such as South Africa's GMaeko, PRINCE MK , Swaghitoh MusiQ, Dj Junior Jr BW, helped him expand his sonic palette, blending diverse influences and enhancing his production capabilities.
