Smokey is an aspiring Irish Rapper/Producer that has been ripping microphones off their stands for an awfully long time. Hailing from Ballybrack, Dublin, Smokey delivers a razor sharp flow, equipped with inventive punchlines, daring rhyme schemes, an almost animated presence on the mic, and is a demon on the beats and boards. His debut solo release “Live from Somewhere”, achieved great local success, receiving write ups from acclaimed Irish music blogs such as Nialler9. With much more in the vaults and a fire in his belly, Smokey is no doubt a dark horse in the Irish Hip Hop scene, and is most definitely one to watch and one to follow, with features on tracks such as “April Fools” by Chaz and the “Lockdown Remix” by Seahigh, as well as main production credits on Phev’s debut EP “Are We Acquainted?
