Michael Wordsmith has forged a name for himself over the last half century as a humanitarian & stalwart of peace. He conducted investigative research into the US government’s forced relocation of Traditional indigenous peoples from sacred lands. He worked with Adm. Charles Adams, Sr. & Senators Alan Cranston & Ted Kennedy in formulating the Congressional bill prohibiting such gov’t abuse, which became Federal law. Under representation by Tom Pollack (former Chief of Pictures at Universal), Mike was responsible for the concept behind ‘Waterworld’ & the story & treatment for ‘Thunder Heart’ starring Val Kilmer. His 50+ years in the entertainment industry is testament to his knowledge & creativity. Originally released in 2012, ‘Have You Heard Mike Smith’s Smokin’ Word?’ reached #350 nationally & #5 in L.A. on ReverbNation with little promotion. Now in our current climate, its true time has come. ‘When the Cloud Comes Down’ & ‘In Tomorrow’ are uncannily prophetic & speak to the moment.
